Set within 27 acres of stunning woodland in the heart of the beautiful Surrey countryside, Hilton Cobham is a charming setting for a wedding in the South of England. The scenic location offers a beautiful backdrop for your all-important wedding photographs including it own Helipad if you are arriving in style.
This was the venue selected by Naomi & Simon Power for their special day.
The morning started at Di Carlo’s in Bookham where Naomi and her daughters were getting their hair (by Di Carlo’s) and makeup (by Sarah Martin) done, after which we all returned to Naomi’s parents house in Bookham to get her into her dress on and for the usual family shoots in her parents garden before we all set off to St Lawrence Church in Effingham for the ceremony. St Lawrence church dates back to the fifteenth century and unusually for such an old church is still fairly light inside which works well for ceremony photographs. It also has some nice grounds which helps for the obligatory photographs outside the church.
Following the service everyone headed back to The Hilton Hotel Cobham for the drinks reception and wedding breakfast. The weather was wonderful and this meant that guests roamed freely around the lovely grounds that the Hilton Hotel Cobham has.
Prior to the wedding breakfast we were able to take Naomi & Simon off to have some more intimate photographs of just the two of them.
