Set within 27 acres of stunning woodland in the heart of the beautiful Surrey countryside, Hilton Cobham is a charming setting for a wedding in the South of England. The scenic location offers a beautiful backdrop for your all-important wedding photographs including it own Helipad if you are arriving in style.
Located in the heart of Woking, Gorse Hill is nestled within 17 acres of immaculately manicured gardens and charming Surrey countryside. The stunning mansion house hotel which was built in 1910 is a lovely venue and was chosen by Jenny & Phil Nash for their big day.
Cranleigh Golf & Country Club is surrounded by stunning Surrey countryside and conveniently located to the north of Cranleigh near Guildford & Horsham, Cranleigh Golf & Country Club offers a stylish and contemporary venue for weddings. The day started with the girls at Kirsty’s home, lots of excitement, laughter, hair, nails and dresses.
Nestling at the foot of Boxhill parts of Burford Bridge hotel date back to the 16th century.
It was here too that Lord Nelson spent secret hours with his love Emma Hamilton, before going to vanquish Napoleon’s fleet at the Battle of Trafalgar, during which Admiral Nelson met his untimely death.
The 16th century Medieval Tithe Barn with beams allegedly from ships of the Spanish Armada was re-erected adjoining the hotel in 1934. In the same year that the Burford Bridge acquired the Tithe Barn the outdoor swimming pool was opened. The outdoor swimming pool has a very Art Deco feel to it and we certainly made good use of the 1950’s style changing rooms.
Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Katie & Calum Childe at Guildford Registry office and then after at the Holiday Inn Guildford.
Katie and her bridesmaids looked stunning wearing 1950’s style dresses. The details were superb with Katie having made the bridesmaids and her own bouquet. The Groom & groomsmen all had hand tied buttonholes which included different coloured chillies as the main theme (in line with Calum’s job as a chef).
Exactly one year later we returned to Littleton House, Shepperton Film Studio’s for the wedding of Sinead & Paul Costello.
This venue is always a great place for a wedding in that it is still an active film studio. One year ago they were filming Alice in Wonderland and we happened to see Helena Bonham Carter.Sadly, this time we weren’t so lucky as they had just finished filming The Mummy with Tom Cruise! Still it was a fantastic wedding and Sinead’s dress was stunning.
Her veil was lovely and long but it did present a slight problem as it was fairly windy and as you can see by one of the images the “Veil really Flew”. We were exceptionally lucky with the weather and although it did rain we were still able to get all of the outside photographs done in the dry.
I would like to thanks Sinead & Paul for asking us to photograph their wedding and we wish them all the very best for the future.

Yesterday we were delighted to photograph the wedding of Jayne & Jack Smith. The day started at Jaynes parents house in Walton on Thames were the girls were getting ready. The wedding service took place at the United Reform Church in Kingston. Jayne & her Dad arrived at the church in a beautiful VW Campavan. After a lovely service everyone had Champagne & nibbles in the hall and at 3:45 Jayane & Jack boadered their VW Campavan and headed off to The Talbot Inn in Ripley. The rest of the guests boarded a fantastically restored Double Decker Red Bus along with a Single Decker Green Line also beautifully restored. Once at The Talbot pims was served in the garden before heading into the wedding breakfast. The weather for the day couldnt have been better with wall to wall sunshine. We would like to thank Jayne & Jack for asking us to photograph their lovely day.
