Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Katie & Calum Childe at Guildford Registry office and then after at the Holiday Inn Guildford.
Katie and her bridesmaids looked stunning wearing 1950’s style dresses. The details were superb with Katie having made the bridesmaids and her own bouquet. The Groom & groomsmen all had hand tied buttonholes which included different coloured chillies as the main theme (in line with Calum’s job as a chef).
Exactly one year later we returned to Littleton House, Shepperton Film Studio’s for the wedding of Sinead & Paul Costello.
This venue is always a great place for a wedding in that it is still an active film studio. One year ago they were filming Alice in Wonderland and we happened to see Helena Bonham Carter.Sadly, this time we weren’t so lucky as they had just finished filming The Mummy with Tom Cruise! Still it was a fantastic wedding and Sinead’s dress was stunning.
Her veil was lovely and long but it did present a slight problem as it was fairly windy and as you can see by one of the images the “Veil really Flew”. We were exceptionally lucky with the weather and although it did rain we were still able to get all of the outside photographs done in the dry.

Yesterday we were delighted to photograph the wedding of Jayne & Jack Smith. The day started at Jaynes parents house in Walton on Thames were the girls were getting ready. The wedding service took place at the United Reform Church in Kingston. Jayne & her Dad arrived at the church in a beautiful VW Campavan. After a lovely service everyone had Champagne & nibbles in the hall and at 3:45 Jayane & Jack boadered their VW Campavan and headed off to The Talbot Inn in Ripley. The rest of the guests boarded a fantastically restored Double Decker Red Bus along with a Single Decker Green Line also beautifully restored. Once at The Talbot pims was served in the garden before heading into the wedding breakfast. The weather for the day couldnt have been better with wall to wall sunshine. We would like to thank Jayne & Jack for asking us to photograph their lovely day.
This Friday 30th we had the pleaseure to photograph the wedding of Sophie & Chris Revell. Sophie looked stunning in here elegent wedding dress as did her 5 bridemaids. The ceremony took place at the Churh of Holy Rood in Holybourne and then afterwards at Old Thorns Manor Hotel. The weather stayed fair which gave us the opportunity of heading off in a golf buggy for some great shots out on the golf course. The view from the 5th hole is truely spectacular with beautiful views for miles. With a fantastic church like St Matha’s on the Hill in Guildford to get married in, it was always going to be a great wedding. Carol & Philip were lucky enough to have great weather and this allowed a Scottish piper to pipe the congregation back down the hill. The reception was held at Barnett Hill Hotel Guildford which is a lovely location. Carol looked stunning with a fantastic huge veil.

The wedding of Nicola & Andrew Fermer at Pelham House Hotel, Lewes
Nicola & Andrew were really lucky that the weather was absolutely beautiful. Pelham House hotel in literally right in the middle of Lewis but in its walled gardens and beautiful views its hard to believe that it is.
The evening certainly rocked when Andrew got up and jammed with the band.

Having been lucky enough to have flown on Concorde a number of times I never expected to be photographing a wedding on it, but thats exactly what I did on Friday afternoon. It was a real pleasure to be asked to photograpgh Mhairi & Pete Banham’s wedding aboard Concorde at Brooklands Museum. I have to say it was a little on the cramped side but superb non the less. Following the service there were drinks and canapes under Concorde itself and the sun even shined! The wedding party then made their way to Hoebridge Golf Club for the wedding breakfast

This was our first wedding at Barnett Hill Hotel and it is a lovely venue. The staff are superb and the house and grounds are really beautiful.
The service was at 4:00pm which of course in January poses its problems with it being dark by then, however it was a truly beautiful day. As well as getting shots of Ann getting ready we managed to get outside to take some shots of Ian and his groomsmen in the beautiful gardens. Ann looked stunning in her dress and I know her father terry was very proud to walk her down the isle. Following the wedding breakfast both Ann & Ian were up for “getting outside” to take some shots. It was freezing but still we managed to get some memorable images.

Yesterday I had the pleasure to photograph Candice & Darren’s wedding. Many of Candice’s family had made the long trip over from the sunny Caribbean to be at the wedding and I am glad to say that the sun shone brightly for the whole day for the visitors however the temperature was a little different!
The service took place at St Lukes Church Burpham and the reception follwed at The Mill, Elstead. The mill is a really lovely venue, settled next to the River and is a traditional Mill house. It was lovely and cozy inside the Mill however outside it was truly freezing. I have to say I was amazed that both Candice & Darren were happy to brave the cold (-3c) and take some images outside in a lovely location. I would like to thank Mr & Mrs Hughes for asking us to record what was a lovely day.
